Final exhibition @NISS 2011 (27-29 mai)

"Who determines the experience of the artwork? Artist or the viewer?"

My degree show @Nordisk Institutt for Scene og Studio 2010 was:
Two telephone booths located in two rooms. The boxes contains:
-two cans each (one to hear and to speak in)
-a doorbell that rings by the opposite box (to let them know there is someone in the box that wants to talk).

I (the artist) have set limits on what this artwork is / can be. (It's a box with tin cans that has a connection to an other box with tin cans...)
The viewer decides how much they want to participate, and thereby what the art is. (A sculpture or an interactive artwork. This will obviously change with each viewer.    ...AND the conversation one might have is individual, and will give an individual interpretation of the work...)

User Manual (hung on the inside door of the phone booth)

It was thankfully well receivedHere are some of the pictures taken at the opening day May 27 2011 :)

This is the first draft of a user manual ...
